If you find a significant and substantial error in the textbook you can earn up to 5 points
for each reported error.
To receive extra credit send an email to the instructor identifying the page number and
paragraph number where it occurs. Explain what the error is and what the correction
should be.
The determination of whether or not the error you find is "significant and substantial"
will be made solely by the instructor. Reports of errors previously reported are not
acceptable for extra credit. You will want check the errata page for previously
reported errors. To determine who reports errors first the time and date of the email
will be used.
The maximum number of extra credit grade points that you can earn from error
reports is twenty-five (25).
